Join us for the One Collective Community 5K: Building a Path to Transformation, a transformative event happening simultaneously in Elgin, IL and Fresno, CA (you are currently on the Elgin page). This 5K walk will help raise critical funds to address some of the most pressing issues facing our communities: homelessness, youth engagement, human trafficking, and the need for greater unity and equity. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected future.
During our Needs Assessments, many in Elgin shared their concerns about the growing isolation, division, and lack of unity within the city. Words like “disconnected,” “isolated,” and “divisive” were common descriptors — but they also represent an urgent call to action. We have a choice: we can continue to accept these challenges, or we can come together and create change. The One Collective Community 5K is our opportunity to take that first step toward a future where no one is left behind.
How You Can Get Involved:
Become a Sponsor: Support local initiatives that are tackling homelessness, human trafficking, and youth engagement, while promoting equity and unity. Your sponsorship will help us make a lasting impact in the Elgin, Chicago, and Joliet areas.
Be a Team Captain: Gather your friends, family, or coworkers to form a team. As a Team Captain, you’ll lead the charge, motivating others to raise funds and awareness while building a sense of collective purpose in your community.
